Probably without except this is the best black trade card I have ever owned. It is called THE DONATION VISIT. Highly unusual it was issued in 1884 by the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Co. and was celebrating teas and coffees. The left hand top of the lady states"Feeling that you have labored long and powerfully in the good cause, we beg leave to present you with some of THE GREAT ATLANTIC AND PACIFIC TEA CO'S. Celebrated Teas and Coffees which will strength you in your labors." Whereupon the man on the right states "You have touched the right spot this time Suah and to show my gratitude I shall keep right on living and recommend these Teas and Coffees to everyone. Yours & Co. Dominie. The verso lists branch houses of the Great Atlantic and Pacific Tea Company with the statement that they were THE LARGEST IMPORTERS AND RETAILERS IN THE WORLD - TEAS AND COFFEES. 6 1/2 X 8 1/2 inches.
