The Colorado Miner of March 3, 1877 wrote “Frank Fossett, the author of ‘Colorado’ the best and most reliable volume ever published upon the varied resources of our state, is in town this week delivering the work to subscribers. It is a book that should be in the hands of every miner, merchant, professional man, and farmer, and we trust Mr. Forssett will be amply repaid for his labor he has expended upon this work.”
