Contains much information on the Chiricahua Apaches who were captured by Miles and Crook and transferred to Florida. Eberstadt states “Contains much on Geronimo and Chatto.” A section also of the correspondence between Miles, Crook, O.O. Howard and Sheridan and Washington, D.C. during the time the Apaches were captured and their relocation to Florida. Wraps are chipped but have been professionally restored. Small water stain to bottom of the rear wrap. The interior is clean and tight, housed in a clam-shell case with title stamped in gilt on the spine. Overall a vg copy of a very rare book.
